About the Program
AWS Information Infrastructure Workshop (I2W) for Educators is a one-day workshop to help education and workforce leaders better understand the physical layer of cloud computing and our information economy, and the many different careers that are available. The goals of the workshop are to provide an overview of infrastructure careers and offerings, learn hands-on, and connect with industry experts and hiring managers.

This workshop is designed for leaders of education and workforce development organizations who oversee workforce programs, career counseling, and/or program development. We urge you to send individuals who have influence and authority with respect to your organization’s programming and priorities.
There are no specific prerequisites for AWS I2W. However, attendees should have a strong interest in learning about career pathways related to data centers and physical cloud infrastructure.
No, AWS I2W is a professional development workshop offered at no cost. A light breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks are provided.
We ask education and workforce leaders to spend the full day with us. The morning includes a brief welcome and overview of information infrastructure career pathways, followed by hands-on learning sessions facilitated by industry professionals. Employers join for the afternoon program, including a networking lunch and facilitated conversations to explore various career pathways and talent needs.
Attending I2W will provide you with valuable insights into industry demands and the skills required for cloud infrastructure careers. You’ll leave with actionable insights for aligning programming with workforce needs and connections to industry that can enhance learner and job-seeker career pathways.
